Description
The ZKTeco EX16 Elevator Floor Extension Board is a specialized hardware expansion module engineered to increase floor access control capabilities for high-rise elevator security systems. Working in tandem with master controllers like the EC10 panel, it provides reliable floor-by-floor relay switching.
Equipped with 16 individual relay outputs, each EX16 board manages access authorization for up to 16 floors. Systems can scale dynamically by cascading multiple boards—supporting up to three EX16 extension units alongside an EC10 master panel to control a maximum of 50 floors.
Utilizing an RS-485 communication bus, the expansion board connects securely and efficiently with the main controller. It also features dedicated auxiliary input terminals for comprehensive fire alarm or emergency override integration.
