What type of camera is the Hikvision DS-2CE72HFT-F?

The Hikvision DS-2CE72HFT-F is a high-performance 5 MP fixed turret analog camera equipped with Hikvision's advanced ColorVu Technology. Unlike standard surveillance cameras that switch to black and white in low-light environments, this camera delivers continuous 24/7 full-color video surveillance, making it a reliable solution for critical security tracking.

How does ColorVu and Low-Light performance work on this model?

Featuring an ultra-large F1.0 aperture and an advanced image sensor, the camera captures significantly more light to produce vivid color images even in extremely dark conditions. For complete pitch-black scenarios, it utilizes a built-in warm white light supplementary beam that provides illumination up to 20 meters without glaring or blinding the subject.

What image enhancement and signal support features are included?

To handle challenging lighting such as strong backlighting or glare, the Hikvision DS-2CE72HFT-F integrates 130 dB True WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology along with 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction). Furthermore, it features a switchable 4-in-1 video output (TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS), allowing seamless integration with a wide variety of DVR systems.

Where can this security camera be installed?

Encased in an IP67 weather-resistant housing built from metal and durable plastic, this camera withstands harsh outdoor weather elements including heavy rain and dust. It is ideal for residential entrances, commercial storefronts, parking areas, warehouses, and outdoor perimeters requiring accurate color detail identification.
